ANN PICCIRILLO—Writer, Alcoholic, Sociopath
Wondering what to do with her Master's Degree in English, Ann wandered aimlessly around NYC with a can of pink spray paint and bad penmanship where she sprayed her haikus onto any available tiled subway wall hoping to be discovered by an intrepid troupe of New Jersey radio actors. If you ever rode the "E" train than you will surely remember Ann's 7th Avenue haiku masterpiece: "Bite Me Mr. Bush! Call Me For Really Good Time. Bite Me Mr. Bush!" Tired of living life underground, Ann took the job as prison pen pal where she fulfilled the fantasies and corrected the grammar of many death row inmates. Her luck began to change when she read the ad for Garden State Jubilee Writer on the bathroom wall of the 178th Street Port Authority Bus Station and heeded their call. Forever indebted to Uncle Floyd, Nelson Page, and Tom Meyers who lock her in a room with a case of bottom shelf bourbon every week releasing her only when a script is completed, Ann would like to thank all her friends at Shop Rite Liquors for their unending support and continued use of their employee discounts.
